Do you suffer from itchy, scaly and parched skin?! We have some advices to share with you and save you from this unpleasant skin problem.
First of all, it’s very important to watch out on your diet. You should add foods like cheese, butter, fresh fruit yogurts, milk, etc. Also, a variety of fresh and seasonal fruit and vegetables should be on your daily menu. Pick up everything green: spinach, broccoli, beans, peas, celery, lettuce… Along with them there are the dry fruits that need to be found in your plate, such as: almonds, figs, walnuts… Besides this, for internal nourishment you can add natural Omega 3 in the form of flax seed and fish. Sprinkle flax seed on your salads, porridge, muesli… And drink at least 8-10 glasses of water per day, although many of us do not feel thirsty and therefore have a tendency to avoid water.
When it comes to external skin care you need to avoid excessive artificial heating, and very hot water showers, because excessive hot water dries out the skin. And do not forget to always use body oil after every bathing. Sesame based oils with sandalwood, seed oils with coconut and rose extracts, mustard oil, rice bran oil and good old almond oil - these are all great for dry skin. There is nothing quite good for the skin as the body massage. Not only does this increase and improve blood circulation, but also it reduces dryness, hydrates, softens, tones, tightens and above all nourishes and moisturizes the skin.
Apart of these natural oil essentials there are other natural moisturizers that can save your skin. Honey is a wonderful natural moisturizer. Take a spoonful and massage it into the skin. Wash with cold water to see a beautiful, soft glowing skin in minutes! Other natural nourishers that you can also use on your skin are milk, fresh cream, mashed avocado, banana, yogurt. They can be massaged gently, applied as a mask.
And last, but not least: a 15-minute exercise on a daily basis can increase the blood circulation in your body which can lead to glowing looking skin.
