Should you add baking soda to your skincare routine?

 

There is one ingredient in every kitchen that can do literally hundreds of things around the house much better than the expensive cleaning products and chemicals- the famous baking soda. This all-natural, inexpensive and versatile product has antibacterial, anti-fungal, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties and besides its other uses, it can be beneficial for your skin too. Well, in this post we are going to reveal you why is baking soda so good for the skin and why you should make it part from your everyday beauty routine.

-Fights acne and pimples. Don’t waste your money on harsh chemicals and expensive beauty products, just use baking soda and get rid of the stubborn acne and pimples in an easy way. Not only it helps reduces the symptoms of acne but it also helps balance the skin’s Ph which prevents the occurrence of skin breakouts and other inflammations. 

 

-Face cleanser. With its antibacterial properties the baking soda is the best natural cleanser that you can use on your skin. Just mix 1 tablespoon of baking soda with water and make a paste. Wash your face with it everyday and have a naturally clean and healthy skin.

-Improves skin complexion. Uneven skin tone is a problem that many women have and if you want a brighter and even tone the baking soda is the perfect solution. You can mix 1 tablespoon of baking soda and 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice together with 4 or 5 tablespoons of olive oil. Apply this pasta on your face, leave it for 5 min and the rinse it off with cold water. For the best result you should repeat this at least 2 times a week.
